Good military site

Is there a professional military site? I'm collecting some information about weapons. Preferably modern. Aircraft, APCs, guns, naval craft, etc...

for recent/current/near-future tech stuff and systems info I prefer FAS: http://www.fas.org/ , specifically http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ , hardly you will find a better data collection on weapon systems worldwide.

I thought I once saw a thread like this tht had a list of good weapons sites. I searched for it 4 times, but couldn't find it. Wonder if you know where it is? Also, thanks, rattler
I'm also interested in getting a good list of defense contractors. International, top 100 or top 50. Google doesn't help much. Army Technology doesn't have major names like Lockheed, BAE, etc...

Hmmm.... I had thought I had provided that in the post above, separated into army, navy and air force, but of course one has to look at them first to realize:

Procedure to retrieve them:

1. Go into "reading" mode, submode "conscious".

2. In my before post click on the link "Industry Websites >> Army".

3. In the left hand menu click "Companies A-Z", there they all are, sorted by a) alphabetically, b) Military Contrators by product/field and c) Civil Contractors by product/field.

4. Googeling any of them will reveal more data.
