Artilleryman Eerola, 3rd Field Artillery Battery, Finnish Defence Forces. Nice to meet you.
I joined FDF around 6 weeks ago and the basic training here at Karelia Brigade is almost over. In few days we get the results concerning our further training. I'm hoping that I get chosen for the artillery observer training, my other alternative is mortar crew.
There's a good chance that I'll be chosen for the NCO training since I'm one of the 30-40 candidates, and around 30 are chosen. I'm kinda hoping I won't get picked though, Corporal rank would be nice and all, but I'd rather serve 6 months instead of 12.
In any case, hopefully I'll be able learn interesting stuff here and if you got any questions about Finland or FDF, I might be able to answer them
