Topic: Gold Pin

I have had this badge forever. Don't even remember where I got it.
Can anyone help me of origin if service related?

Nothing on the back or edges.
The initials to me look like...
C D ...I or L?

My personal belief is that it isn't military but rather "Civic" related.

If it were me I would be looking at something like the "Odd Fellows" groups as they use a similar font...

Note the "horse shoe" shape is very similar in design.

Not one thing on the back.
Oddfellows sounds promising...
It could be that I had it from within my family.
My Grandpa came here from England. Manchester, to be precise. The C would fit, so would the D. If the other initial on it is a J, it could very be.
Yes, I Googled it last night ... For a loong time.
Thanks all!
I'm Going to search now.

Went to the Oddfellows web site.
Didn't see one like this.....
Yes, the font is THE same.
Merit badges and the like.
The initials stand for what the badge is awardedfor..
The gold one I have, has one common initial as in the others I perused.
The Letter C.
