German Federal Armed Forces

Why is German armour so damn sexy.
I remember driving my 432 at Stapel, and being overtaken by a Marder, in Reverse!.
The latest Leo is pretty horny too.
I fear incoming from a certain pair of Northern Brits.

Couldn't agree more, if I could swing it I would have the whole family in a GTK-Boxer that thing looks awesome.
Unfortunately the woman likes air conditioning and air bags I tried to tell her we could open a hatch and throw the mother in law in the back but she didn't buy it.

Is the Boxer seen as a replacement for the Marder as I was under the impression that there where plans for a standard vehicle that could fill the rolls of APC, IFV and air defense however I thought that was going to be the Puma?
 
The GTK-Boxer is a APC ( Armoured Personally Carrier) . They would replacement for the Vehicle Fuchs and the old M113 . These is only for the German Infantry , the Jägertruppe without IFV . The new IFV would be the SPz PUMA .

APC Fuchs ----> GTK-Boxer
MTW M 113----> GTK-Boxer

IFV Marder ---> IFV Puma

Yep sorry I was under the impression that part of the NGP Project was to settle on a common vehicle for the APC, IFV and air defense platforms and both the Puma and the Boxer were products of that project, I had just assumed that when they spoke of a common vehicle that it would be one not two vehicles.
