Gearing up for hunting season?

Winter is almost on us, and I hope that some of you on the boards will be taking the time from work or marriage to go afield. I'm making a hunt this weekend (opening day of deer season) and I'll have some pictures from the hunt up. Anyone else planning to try to put meat on the table?

Oh, man, I forgot about it. Gotta to ask my uncle for the permission to hunt on his ranch, asap...

Going today. Leaving at around 4, making an afternoon hunt, sleeping at a friend's camp. Up Sunday morning, back on the stand. My gear's been packed for a week, and we've got an awesome cold front JUST hitting us.
