Four US soldiers killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Nov 3 (AFP) - Four US soldiers were killed in seperate incidents
Wednesday in Iraq, the military said Thursday.

One Task Force Baghdad soldier was killed by a roadside bomb south of the
capital.

Meanwhile a soldier from the 3rd Infantry Division died of his wounds
sustained when his patrol came under grenade attack near Balad, north of the
capital. A second US soldier was wounded in the attack in which two rebels
were also killed.

And two US Marines were killed when their helicopter crashed on the
outskirts of the restive western Iraqi town of Ramadi.

The deaths bring to at least 2,028 the number of US military personnel who
have died in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion, according to an AFP tally
based on Pentagon figures.
