BAGHDAD, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Four U.S. soldiers were killed in
separate attacks in Iraq on Saturday, the U.S. military said.
Two soldiers were killed when they were fired upon in the Yusufiyah
district southwest of Baghdad, while another soldier was killed by
small-arms fire while on patrol northwest of the capital, the military said.

A fourth soldier was killed when his patrol struck a makeshift bomb
in north Baghdad.
More than 2,100 U.S. soldiers have died since the 2003 U.S.-led
invasion to oust Saddam Hussein from power.
Iraq has been ravaged by daily attacks by a Sunni Arab-led
insurgency fighting to overthrow a U.S.-backed government.
