Four Iraqi policemen wounded by roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A roadside bomb went off near a police
station in eastern Baghdad on Tuesday, wounding four policemen, a police
source said.
"A blasting charge planted near al-Muthanna police station, in Zayouna
district, detonated at 8:45 a.m. (0545 GMT)," Ahmed Abdullah told Xinhua.
The blast wounded four policemen and damaged several civilian cars
parking near the police station, Abdullah said.
Earlier, two policemen were killed and six others wounded when a booby
trapped car, parking near al-Meshtal intersection, east of Baghdad, exploded
near a police patrol, the police said.
Insurgents frequently target Iraqi police and government officials in a
bid to topple the Shiite-dominated government.
