I know there are infinate resources on how to fold and properly dispaly the American flag, but I recently had to fold a Spanish flag and I had no clue what to do.

Can some of y'all post some links about "foreign" flag-folding or protocol?

When I was in the Middle East last year I participated in a yank flag lowering parrade.
The US have a real snappy way of folding their flag, we just folded the Aussie flag like you would a bed sheet, the Poms folded theirs similar to ours and I think the eyeties rolled theres up!
So in answer to your question as long as it is down in a suitably military fashion, any way may be OK?

I'm going out on a limb here, but I think the Maple Leaf is folded the same way as the American: lengthwise until its a narrow strip, and then corner-over into triangles. At least, thats how I recall it in the flag manual. Therre's no prescribed drill movement, as long as it is done solemnly and with dignity.

I've seen the Americans fold their flag as drill -- it's a thing of beauty.

do countries exceot america even fold their flags as a drill or is it just done to get the flag folded and put away.
