Having worked with the public for 5 years while going to college I can certainly understand why this happened. The saying "The customer is always right" only works if the customer doesn't know it. Too many times the customer uses that to make unreasonable demands. The worst part is that the customer knows they are making unreasonable demands, but they do it anyway.
