Topic: First World War Vet Dies


George Rice aged 108 died last week, he was one of a handful of WW1 Vets remaining from the 5.4 million men that fought in this war. George joined the Durham Light Infantry at 17 and was a machine gunner in the trenches.

those few left will be gone soon, and then after that the WW2 vets

death is a sad thing but it will happen anyway
