Hey...I wanna be a firefighter in the military...so far I've been told Air Force is the way to go with Navy coming in second but I'm just not sure yet. I'm also being told the Air Force won't guarentee me my job...something about me having to pick 5 jobs and HOPE firefighting opens up first...Just wondering if some military firefighters could give me some insight...I've already taken the ASVAB and scored a 95 and I'm in great shape

i am a firefighter in civilan life and i am leaving for basics in aug. but in the navy wen i went to meps they showed us papers explaining our jobs and ur job is based on ur asvsb score.
