Find out your 2008 presidential candidate

I think mine is broken.

1. Obama
2. Kucinich
3. Clinton

The thing is with all three of those I disagreed on issues that I felt were most important (Iraq, Immigration, Stem-cell research) and agreed on issues that I felt weren't issues at all (Marriage, Death Penalty) or issues not of the greatest importance (Taxes, Line-Item Veto). This thing is way too biased towards certain issues when my top five all disagree with what I chose as my only two very important issues (Iraq, Immigration). I guess I won't be using this to choose my vote in '08.

Hmm well I got:
Fred Thompson - 19
John McCain - 19
Jim Gilmore - 19
Duncan Hunter - 19

The only one I know is John McCain and I like him so I guess its a reasonable bunch.

I'm Duncan Hunter. 38.

The democracies are the lowest in my list. So, that make me as a Republican conservative....

I certainly hope it isn't serious, or else I need to do quite a bit of soul searching. As I told one of my friends, "Since coming to college I have learned to make peace with Socialists, but I will NEVER forgive the Democrats." The sad part is, I'm about to write my Congresswoman a very thoughtful letter explaining that the Army is full of **** and why my surgically repaired knee is not a liability.

She's a Democrat. :crybaby:

As Political and hateful of the United States Congress under Democratic Control as you are I'd say the Military is doing just fine without you.

I agree... Now imagine if that evil lady becomes president. I think US will end up being a socialist state just like France or Germany. And the Democratic controlled congress has an approval rating around 18%. Way to go....

Well, the Democrats took control of the United States Congress by winning an Election some 11 Months ago.

There will be another Federal Election in just over a year, as we in America have elections just like clockwork.

So, time will tell just how Americans feel about the Democrats and Republicans in the United States Congress, and in this coming Election Americans will also decide who will be the new President of the United States of America.

1-Kucinich
2-Dodd
3-Obama
4-Hilary (WHAT, I HATE THIS WOMAN)
5-Gravel

Yep, definitely broken. There's no way in hell I'm voting for someone who would try to impose additional gun laws.

I don't like any candidate from any party. None of them represents my views, because I am very much conservative on defense and immigration, but completely liberal on social issues and health care.

I'd rather vote for Ron Paul than any of the fools on my list.

And once again you've proven how adept you are in detecting sarcasm, in any form. I thought I was on your perma-ignore list. I worked really hard to get there and it disappoints me that you have removed me from said list, whether it is real or not doesn't really matter, I was just stoked to be on it. Furthermore, the military is an institution above any one or any several thousand individuals, we could have lost Generals Marshall and Eisenhower in two unrelated, tragic accidents back in 1942 and the military would have been just fine. The relevance, ignorance, arrogance and stupidity (is stupidance a word? If so substitute it for stupidity to keep the pattern going) of your statement is absurd. I'm glad to see you've remember me though after five to six months of almost no posting on my part.

P.S. I voted for this Democrat, dumbass (Gator).

You saying the Democrat you voted for is a dumbass, or did you just make a mistake and call me a dumbass?

I do not know why your Post came up when I read it, perhaps I was not signed in, but you are regardless on my Ignore List, but still, I'll check back for an answer.

Very well put...

I wish people who dislike each other use that ignore button more often! It's there for a reason

No mistake Gator, that was quite clearly meant for you, but I edited the post to make the change a little easier to read.

Phoenix, I don't ignore people (unless they're championing the belief that the Holocaust is a myth, something along those lines) because I'm under the impression (some would say delusion) that I am not so self righteous as to ignore a person with a valid point that disagrees with mine. However I think with Gator I can do so without suffering any great consequence, he never actually offers evidence or facts to support his views, just this ingrained belief that if Bush says the Sun is the center of the Solar System it must not be true and to look for alternative solutions with or without any basis in reality.

Absolutely. I can understand what you say. Although I do ignore a few very hardcore leftists here on this board and try not to pay attention to their misguided comments. I just want to think that they're ignorant. That's all.

1-Dennis Kucinich (what a shock, I already knew that)
T2-Hilary Clinton (not in a million years)
T2-Barack Obama
4-Chris Dodd
5-John Edwards

the only Republican above a Dem is Giuliani, who leads Bill Richardson and Mike Gravel.

Duncan Hunter - 53
Fred Thompson - 48
Mitt Romney - 46
John McCain - 43
Tom Trancedo - 41
Jim Gilmore - 39
Rudy Giuliani - 37
Mike Huckaby - 34
Joe Biden - 25
Ron Paul - 19
Bill Richardson - 17
Hillary Clinton - 15
John Edwards - 15
Barack Obama - 15
Dennis Kucinich - 8
Chris Dodd - 8
Mike Gravel - 3

I'm not part of any official political party nor do I intend to join any. I pretty much just vote for whoever's views aligns with mine. My top and bottom 3 were:

Giuliani - 45
Kucinich, Edwards, Clinton, and Obama - 39

McCain - 14
Gravel - 18
Paul - 19
