the 109 was a nice plane for its time.

Hehe to be fair by 1941 it should have been nearing the end of its combat life and I think the FW190 was overall the better German fighter but I chose the BF109 because its the aircraft I see when I think of WW2 air combat.
 
I like the YF-23 Black Widow. It flew circles around the F-22. Too bad it was'nt chosen. As far as I know, this bird is still shading pavement out at Edwards AFB where I took this pic.

^ u guys are only saying that cos its American :lol: , nice plane tho, i think i had a toy model that looked the same as that when i was younger

The SR-71 is a recon plane, not a fighter. i dont think it has any weapons on it. Has it been retired or is it still in service?
