KIRKUK, Iraq, Nov 22 (AFP) - Fifteen people were killed and 25 wounded
Tuesday when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a marketplace in the
northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, police said.
Police rushed to the market after a small bomb exploded there. A suicide
bomber then drove in at speed, ramming a police car with his vehicle and
setting off a large explosion.
At least 20 shops were damaged, five cars destroyed and a number of the
victims, many of them policemen, were burnt to death.
