Fake veteran faces charges

The guy is a nutcase. He should do more than a year because basically what he did was fraud as he did get paid for a few events and receive types of payments such as free hotels, transportation etc. If he was impersonating a big businessman and got caught he would have been charged with fraud by impersonation which carries minimum 3 years.
 
I fully believe that impersonating a military person should receive the death penalty immediately. I feel that is more dishonorable than desertion in time of conflict, and totally disrespects our military personnel

Pretty stupid, is it really worth jail time over? Either do your time or go about your life.
