EU lifts Arm embargo to CHina in 6 month
China will have to be carful on what they build. they have a 50 billion doller military budget ( 80 billion technicly but it isn't recongnized). However comapred to that I believe is the second largest in the world. The total military spending in the world is 950 billion. Out of that the USA is responsible for 450 billion dollers of that. so even if the chinese manage to get good euro weapons they will need the money to produce them. However one problem that may bother Americans is the fact alot of europeon tech has American tech on it.

Do you think that CHina will start producing UAVs that contain European Chipboards sooner?
What about China using european satelite tech or even GALILEO for missile navigation. IF understood correct, one of the biggest disadvantages that the Chinees have with their missiles/weapons, is that they don't have, or can't, use satelite navigation like GPS with their missiles. Will that be any different now?

Actually it will be very different. China was able to produce one of the world's top artillery systems in the world, but it was seriously handicapped because of the guidance system depends on Non-Chinese Satellite Systems. Therefore, the Artillery Platform did not enter PLA service and is exported to the Kuwaiti Army instead.

This needs bit more better explaination than the replicate Cliche. There ARE property rights that exists that prevent duplication. And since China is part of the WTO, the are not allowed to replicate if only there is licensing agreements.

And again, it seems China are not interesting of purchasing European Weapon Platforms. Instead they are interested in the components. But don't jump into conclusions yet, the Arms ban isn't lifted yet.

just say something i am thinking..

i think Chinese won't buy a lot weapons from EU even after lifting the ban, rather, i think china wants to use this "lifting-ban-incident" to persuade Russia to sell better, moderner weapons to china in a cheaper price.

make sense?

lol...russian weapon corporations are not controled by government anymore as u know, so it is not like Russia is so poor they cant afford to upgrade something, look the sell of these years, those companies are as fat as they are ever.

chinese want some better quality weapons, not those su-27s with crappy radars (chinese version, that is why they stopped the production), or those su-30s which are inferior and expensiveR then india's

i guess..
