Hey everyone

I am 18 and I want to serve in the German army, I have my passport but I do want to know if that qualifies me for the army, and if not what do I have to do. I have done a tremendous amount of research and I just want to know what other qualifications I need. I am currently living in South Africa but I dont want to join the military here because its pretty crappy. So I was hoping if there is anyone on here that knows about what I need or is actually in the Bundeswehr.

You can only serve in the Bundeswehr if you are a German Citizen.

But I am a citizen, so I just need to know what else I need

When you are a German citizen; I assume you speak German fluently. You can check out this website

I don't speak German (I can buy me a beer in German and that is pretty much it)

If you have German citizenship and speaks and writes fluent German, this is the way you go from here.
