Different forms of government and differences can be overcome when it comes to the word "Free trade" thus the emphasis to combat global terrorism as a whole.

Well, Southeast Asia is poised and ready to move up to being the center-stage of the world. Resources and population are there in incredible abundance. All they need is time and continued motivation. Only a big messy war can ruin things for them at this point -- didn't I already say that its a conflict that I hope we never see? The magnitude of such a conflict would be staggering.

Has mankind overcome his impulses for war? If not, wars will still happen from time to time. China, India and the USA are enormous weights capable of quickly tipping the scales to the favor of whatever side they are on. More and more, the three most populous nations on the planet only increase in importance. The USA will probably diminish as India and China rise -- we just plain aren't capable of keeping up with either of the Over a Billion People Nations in the long run (if they do it right and don't screw it up for themselves), but we're still pretty big and we got a sweet location over here. We're very strong now. We're not going to be a small league player on the World Map anytime soon.

It would be interesting to contemplate what a union of the USA, China, India, Russia and Europe could accomplish -- at the moment a very unlikely team, but who's to say? Or is the all important goal to surpass the USA?

What is important to remember is that fact it is said in 50 years india will surpase China in population, Europe may actualy lose population however America is exspected to stay about the same.

So China may not have long left having a population advantage.

i agree with what you said to some degree.
Sine the late 1970s china started to constrain population growth by family planning. Now china has a low birth rate and population growth rate compared with some developing countries.
i dont think too big size of populationis a advantage factor to china.it is maybe one many years ago,but now it is rather than a burden.

well, mao wanted the chiense to mate like bunnies during 1949, since the population went down since the 1900's, thereby china never had condoms or stuff like that before 1976

....Okay....that was interesting...

Thier population is a burden cause they would have to feed um during a war ( that are they may let um starve to death, the way of the communist.) However it can come in use when it comes to producing things. The more people the more they can make.
