A DynCorp International Inc. and McNeil Technologies Inc. venture said it has won a contract valued at as much as $4.6 billion over five years providing translators primarily to the U.S. Army in Iraq. Global Linguist Solutions LLC said the Army re-awarded the pact to theSpringfield, Va., company. L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. lost the contract to Global Linguist in December 2006 and has twice filed protests with the Government Accountability Office. This is the third time the Army has selected Global Linguist for the pact. L-3 had been performing the work on an interim basis.
