L-3 Communications Holdings, the largest supplier of U.S. Army translators, has filed a protest after losing a $4.6 billion contract to provide linguists in Iraq to a group led by DynCorp International of Falls Church. A review by the Government Accountability Office will be done by April 2, said Laura Kopelson, a spokeswoman for the office.
L-3 had been the favorite to win the five-year contract. The protest could delay the deployment of the linguists, which had been scheduled to begin in March.
