AP - A 14-year-old Dutch girl will set off Saturday on a controversial attempt to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world, her representatives said.

Her parents should have been jailed for needlessly endangering the life of a minor.

She's not old enough to drink or drive,.... but she is allowed to take off on her own around the world.
