A group of international students in an English language class decide to go out together for dinner to celebrate their last day of English lessons class.
They go to a restaurant reputable for its excellent international cuisine.
They are a very diverse group and have become great friends: there’s a Frenchman, Spaniard, Greek, German, Norwegian, Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese, South Korean, Mexican, Nigerian, Iraqi, Pakistani, and a Brazilian.
As they enter the foyer and walk towards a large reserved table, the Head Waiter halts the group and he gives them a good look over and says, “sorry, you can’t come in here”
The group all protest and demand why not, they had booked a table and what was wrong?
The Head Waiter studied all their faces again and he said
"Sorry, we have rules. You can not come in here without a Thai."
