So let me see if I understand this, you want news that has positives in it but not about soccer because you don't care about soccer even if it is positive?

Perhaps you should send a list of all the things Americans don't like to your local new organisation so that they can create this "impartial" show for you?
 
Actually, I was using that as an example of over reporting, you know, the topic of this thread, and as more proof that the news should focus more on stories of relevance to the viewer.

The press is saying it's all gone to hell in a hand cart and their not far wrong, just as long as the politicians give our service men and women the support they need, (especially the Brits,in unarmoured land rover patrol vehicles) and not loose conviction at poll times.
