GUNS

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. Yes, that is 80
million.
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times
more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE
HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!

Out of concern for the public at large, we have withheld the statistics on
lawyers for fear the
shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention

Are those true statistics? If they are, that's some pretty good ammo for those anti-gun people. Some guy last week came into english with a Gun Control presentation. His firmest solution was to ban private-gun ownership. His view is that, if nobody's allowed to have a gun other than law enforcement/military, then there will never be a need to own one or defend yourself. I debated the shit out of his proposal.

What about the ones where they wanted them to die? Put that into the equation and it'll flip flop probably. Plus "If guns kill people then I can blame misspelled words on my pencil." (Larry The Cable Guy)

I love it and if you had ever met a civilian doctor working on a RAF Base you would know its most likely true
