1942 St. Nazaire Raid: Destroyer HMS Campbeltown, rigged as a foating bomb, rams the Normandie Dock, destroying it with a timed fuze. Shore batteries sink Motor Launches ML 177, 192, 262, 267, 268, 298, 447, 457 and MTB 74. ML 306 is boarded and captured by KM Torpedo Boat Jaguar after the Raid. ML 156, 270, 446 and MGB 214 scuttled due to battle damage and bad weather after the Raid. During the Raid an unidentified KM Flackship scuttles itself after recieving heavy fire from both sides.
