Most are very friendly and welcoming. They are very curious and would like to talk to us, especially the kids but it's probably because they know we have chocolate and sweets.

It's probably fifty-fifty how they feel about our presence here but those who are against us, is so not because we are here but more because their pride is offended in their eyes. As one elderly man said: If there is a problem in one's village, you do not bring shame upon yourselves by getting one from a neighboring village to solve the problem for you.

Generally we have a good relationship with most in our area but with Afghan’s, one never knows and whatever, you have to be very aware that things are not always what they seem to be.
