I came across this video

Somewhere in Russia, this crazy dog attacks an old couple. Eventually, the police arrive. Here is what I don't get: straight away, one of the cops shoots the dog, pretty much point blank, you'd have to be a God awful shot to miss from that kind of range, and I doubt he'd be working in police if he was, so, the dog probably was shot, yet it still was able to run off. As they chased it, that cop and another one were now shooting at it together, but from not so close this time, and I don't know if they hit it again. I believe they eventually killed it by running it over with one of the police trucks lol
But, how does a dog that's been shot, possibly shot repeatedly, still keep on running? Perhaps if it has rabies, maybe it affects its brain, so it doesn't feel pain anymore?
