Ireland didn't become part of the United Kingdom until 1801.
:-x Ok dont get me started....bulshit
Edit: Actually no Im already started. lol
FIRSTLY! 'Southern' Ireland as you call it(It's just Irish rep now)...didnt leave the United Kingdom...cos hun we were NEVER a part of it. The UK invade OUR country. Between 1801 and 1922 Britain came to Ireland and took over the nation... (dont you love how the UK decided to take over Ireland during the run up to famine when Ireland was at its weakest state ), 1922 Ireland had eventually fought back enough (war of indepence etcetc ) to return our nation to our own government and drive the british troops out of 26 counties. Very condensed History lesson there lol...Tip for future you never say Ireland was part of Uk when Irish ppl are about
Why?:-x .Tip for future you never say Ireland was part of Uk when Irish ppl are about
