Concern About BCT

Sketchy

I wok part time in retail, which means I am dealing with all kinds of people from all walks of life. Lots of veterans of the armed forces come through, and I am good friends with quite a few of them. All of them know I ship in November.
But as soon as I told them I was going to BCT at Fort Leonardwood Missouri, they all had the same "you poor bastard" response about Leonardwood in winter. Is there much to be worried about or is it rumors?

It will wet and cold with periods of damp and cold with intermittant periods of freezing and cold and wet.

So I am guessing the bright side is that he wont have to worry about heat exhaustion.
:)

Pro tip- keep your night time change of clothes and sleeping bag dry!
Do not be tempted into not putting your wet clothes back on in the morning.

Also keep your brew gears on you. Nothing like a hot chocolate to keep your spirits up.
