Combat Boots - Best of

In you opinion, what are the best combat boots for all round performance? - temperate climate, not desert boots.

Matterhorn makes the Danner makes an Infantry boot that is AWESOME. THe USMC has been wearing it for years, and the army just adopted it with in the past year.

Danner FT lewis boots are real good but a little on the spendy side
I live near the factory in portland,oregon so i can get factory seconds.

I've said it before in the other thread, but Taipan Boots are by far the best. And I have tried the rest.
