Coke in Colombia.

There's been a lot of noise around about an allegedly unfair behavior of Coca Cola towards Colombian workers.
One of those no- global issues.

Anyone knows anything? Craic!

It's low pay and bad working conditions. Coca Cola usually lets bottlers distribute under license trade name ect. So I don't know if it's a local problem or it orginates in Atlanta.

Coca-Cola has plants in countries all over the world, where the product is manufactured for that country/region. Fanta which is very popular in South and Central America is also a Coca-Cola product. The plants within each individual nation, to my understanding, are still part of the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. based in Atlanta. But, the individual plants would fall under employment and worker laws of the country where they are operating.
