Classifieds?

Mods: any chance we could have a classifieds forum, or are we permitted to post classifieds threads in the General Chat forum? I've got some stuff I'd like to unload, and figure some of the forum members might be interested in them (i.e., some old videos, flight simulator software, etc.). Didn't notice anything in the forum rules/FAQs...

I've been thinking about a buy/sell forum a while now, so it's still on my to-do list.. :)
 
I'm guessing that anything that requires a federal background check is probably off limits. :?
 
We can't do that. It is illegal. How about someone in here who has licensed gun dealer? Heh?
 
I think the logistics of verifying someone's identity and then doing a criminal background check would be too complicated (and frankly, the system too vulnerable to someone who's a really good fake) to make an online gun shop viable.

No, not yet I'm afraid.. :-|
It's still in my list, so I haven't abandoned it yet, but it's hard to come up with a good system (and rules) for a buy/sell forum...
