Chinese Lanterns Festival!

Hello every guys,

Yesterday was our Chinese Lanterns Festival, it stands for happiness,fortune and reunion. Also,2007 is the Golden Pig Year in China. Pig is a very good symbol in Chinese traditional 12 Animal-Years,just like Western's 12 Constellations. Sorry I can't know how to speake them in English more accurately.

Thanks B2ee... its a shame they've restricted the use of fireworks in the city... and even more of a shame that when they do let them use them so many people get injured. Lantern Festival is really beautiful though regardless.
 
is this the type of festival we always see with the people running around holding the cloth dragon ? if so i have wanted to go to one of these.
