Yes, Sir. And I'm afraid that The Admin and the Mod will come to kick my ass.

But that was just a joke. I don't care about war than the Terror.

In the Half Life 2, The hero Freeman is saving the people from the No.17 Town. But in the Counter Strike 2, all people have divided into The T and The CT. There are no citizens there. Confusion, Gun, C4, Boom!

Actually, I considered that the Terror had begun from the French Revolution era, then Naziism. Now the Black Flag came on... Terrorism (Actually, the most of them should be call nihilism) is not a military problem mainly. The benthamism and the nihilism is the each side of a coin. They are twins. 9/11 is a sign.

I think that this is not irrelative. So I made the joke for the people of U.S. here.

I knew that this is a military forum. From now on, I will only post diverting military pics.

Isn't the ZTZ-99 is a upgraded and modified Type-98?The 2002 Congress report of China's Military Power emphasized this.

well..i think capturing any city in china is very hard because in china, a city with 2 miillion ppl is considered a small city, u got to fight not just regulars but those vicious armed police,
invading china requires at least 1 million U.S troops and occupying china requires much much more cuz u should know Communist army was the one who started from Guerilla warfare and they are very good at it

Occupying China would be extremely hard. It would be like invading America. Im pretty sure most Chinese citizens will not just stand there and watch their country get invaded. I know if a foreign invader was in my house i wouldn't be so happy, and would escort him out as nice as possible.

its not a matter of can, but a matter of why?

for centuries china likes its nest it has settled for thousands of years and does not invade much, only when the outside forces descend upon the chinese with threat

One thing to tell , is that most chinese cities span large landmasses and most houses are made of reinforced concrete ( contreary to western beliefs, chinese buildings are the strongest of any since its made of strong concrete and construction laws have uprooted quality)

Most resideitual buildings, factories and commercial districts are made of bricks or concrete with steel rods, and most resideitual areas arent like the individual housing units in north america, in china its usually large individual communitsies of housing units surrounded by a concete fence( sort of a fortress if you would like to call it that)

Let me see, concrete buildings, concrete fences and a large city area... its is goign to be a goldmine to defend for the chinese if there is an attack, its probaly the worst nightmare to any invading troops to descend upon a chinese city, why, let the german survivors tell u that

Honestly, as much as I love the US, if I were my government, that would be my first and last choice, with the intendtion to avoid a Sino-US war all together. I agree with some here in China that China should scrap its no-first-use nuclear policy and adopt the US nuclear policy. This tit-for-tat policies of the two sides of the Cold War era had kept the politicians sane for many years...

Hehe, I haven't been here for a while and I'm glad to see that the China related threads seem to have become more and more educated and educating, thanks to the new blood here. By the way, the Pakistani site that has been cited in this thread is a good source of information. Many well educated, well-informed, living-in-the-West Chinese or ethnic Chinese are participating there.

Gosh! I did a mistake. The accurate name is ZTZ-99G. The Chinese military fans name it Chinese Leopard. Because Leopard IIA6 had a very high reputation in China. I'm a military fans also, so I don't know the detailed information about that new tank. But I routed up a pic of Type-99 prototype here.

Should the long-rumored"scalar weaponry", as seen on many Western web sites, really exist, none of what have been discussed in this thread would matter much any more. Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

For those who have no clue about things such as a Tesla Dome, here's a link to an article about it (no, it's not written by a commie Chinese, even if it may be a piece of propagada/disinformation crap):

"KULA LUMPUR -- Malaysia's war on smog is about to get a new twist. The government wants to create man-made cyclones to scrub away the haze that has plagued Malaysia since July. 'We will use special technology to create an artificial cyclone to clean the air', said Datuk Law Hieng Ding, minister for science, technology and the environment. The plan calls for the use of new Russian technology to create cyclones -- the giant storms also known as typhoons and hurricanes -- to cause torrential rains, washing the smoke out of the air. The Malaysian cabinet and the finance minister have approved the plan, Datuk Law said. A Malaysian company, BioCure Sdn. Bhd., will sign a memorandum of understanding soon with a government-owned Russian party to produce the cyclone.

On the morning of 27 December, the Australian (New York owned) media was making it very clear that the most badly hit nation in the region was Sri Lanka, an island at the southern tip of India, which like Australia is a member nation of the British Commonwealth. Accordingly, Tim Costello, head of one of Australia's largest charities, made immediate plans to fly to the area and assess the need for aid. But that same morning, Little Johnny was dancing to a very different tune, which, based on his known subservience, must have been playing down his secure telephone line from Wall Street.
In true covert manner, Little Johnny secretly dispatched two RAAF Hercules transport planes packed with supplies to Malaysia on "Stand By", and directed two more to Darwin in Australia's north. Please note that if Little Johnny had any humanitarian concerns at all, all four Hercules could have flown directly to Commonwealth partner Sri Lanka, where every other Australian had already been told by the media that aid was needed. But no, it wasn't to be, and Little Johnny waited patiently for orders from New York.
The waiting period was short, and after a high-flying reconnaissance jet confirmed that the runway was clear at Medan in eastern Sumatra, all four Australian Hercules complete with troops, guns and other tackle, invaded Sumatra just south of the devastated province of Aceh. In turn, with 90% of its population killed by the tsunami, Aceh might perhaps one day soon become Indonesia's very own Guantanamo Bay, crawling with hundreds of heavily armed Australians and Americans.
Remember carefully though, at the time these four Hercules touched down in Medan, the ordinary Australian public still had no idea that Sumatra was badly hit. Only Little Johnny knew, and of course his trusty crystal ball in New York. To hell with Sri Lanka, his bosses wanted a main base for the huge reconstruction contracts in Asia, designed to replace the failed oil theft and reconstruction in Iraq, and keep poor old Zion on its tottering New York legs for a few more weeks or months.
.
Maybe because India had Already Sent 4 Battelships form Eastern Command Center to Srilanka and Pledged that India would try to take care of Maldieves and Srilanka rescue operations ...........and at that time it didn't looked this much devestating

Quote:
The Indian Government knew full well that this was not a "normal" earthquake. On 27 December India refused to join George Bush's planned exclusive 'club of four', which would have effectively pulled this Asian nuclear power out of its new coalition with Russia, China and Brazil. On 28 December the Indian Government politely warned the American military to stay clear of Indian sovereign territory, and on 29 December the India Daily Editorial publicly questioned the nature of the event: "Was this a showdown by a country to show the region what havoc can be created?" ... "Given the level of devastation and given the fact India is a regional power in South Asia, [the] Indian Navy has an obligation to investigate and tell the world what they found."

It is imperative Swordfish that you need to stay on topic. Please do not post such nonsense again in this thread. It definetily does not show any correlation with the Chinese Military. If you want to post something about India, please post it in the India's Army thread instead, not here.

Yes, it does look a lot like the German Leopard's Hull and the front turret itself has a designs of a Merdkava. Although, it does look very interesting. Most of the western sites don't have the ZTZ-99G confirmed yet. Do you have the official spefications? A link would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
