KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, who missed eight starts with a severe concussion earlier this season, left Sunday's game against Jacksonville with a sprained xxxxx ankle after a hard hit from linebacker Clint Ingram.
Green scrambled for a 7-yard gain midway through the third quarter and was hit as he slid. He got up slowly, but walked off under his own power.
Damon Huard, who was 5-3 as Green's replacement, came in and was 2-for-3 for 54 yards on a scoring drive that ended with Larry Johnson's 12-yard touchdown run for a 35-17 lead.
The Jaguars drew a 15-yard roughing-the-passer penalty in the first half for a hit on Green by defensive end Paul Spicer.
