The entire little rant is BS. Someone was really smoking something good when they wrote that.
 
I have read more serious articles suggesting that there are powerful people planning to install martial law in the US. However, even if it were true, the majority of the people of the United States have a democratic republican tradition too strong for it to be sweeped away by some self-proclaimed General of the Armies.

Hehe That was supposed to be a reference to an episode of Sealab 2021, in which Captain Murphy declares "martian law" which allows him to do whatever he wants. He also promotes 2 crew members to Lords of Phobos and Deimos (the 2 moons of Mars, also the ancient Greek concepts of Fear and Panic, induced by Ares/Mars, the God of war) or something .
