Changing military Branches

My daughter has finished basic training and is graduating from AIT in January. She is 22 and has a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
She was pushed into the medic field. She was really looking for something in another area. Her ASVAB was a 99 with very high line item scores.
She wishes she had gone to the air force as a commissioned officer, (science area or aircraft related) Can she change branches?

After she fulfills her contract she has signed this go around she can talk to an Air FORCE recruiter about it. As far as I know there is nothing to be done before then.

I think she will just have to chalk this one up to experience gained and re-enlist in the Air Force. Who knows, this may give her a perspective on military life she couldn't have gotten any other way. I hope she can hang in there and serve her enlistment because the Air Force will be glad to take her with prior service.
