Car bomb hit US military convoy northeast of Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- A car bomb on Friday struck a US military
convoy near an Iraqi town some 40 km northeast of Baghdad, wounding three
Iraqi civilians, an Interior Ministry source said.
"A car bomb parking on a road near the town of Kanaan in Deyala province,
wounding three civilians," the source told Xinhua on condition of
anonymity.
It was not clear whether there were any US casualties, as the US troops
cordoned off the area preventing police and people from approaching the
scene, the source said.
