I have to agree with Charge on this, Canada did exactly the right thing. And I hope this man is returned to the US for court-martial and that he faces a good amount of time in prison for desertion. However, I completely agree that I dont think he should nessicarily face death. If he deserted a combat zone, yes, but he didnt, so he should be fairly prosecuted and hopefully held for a VERY long time and will at least serve his country through hard-labor!
