Can a new Palestine state be established peacefully?

With the conflict between Isreal and the Palestinians it has been hard to work toward Bush's idea of a seperate Palestine state. However with the recent death of Yassir Arafat Isreal has said they might start up talks again. Do you think Isreal will allow a Palestine state peacefully?

i think we have a better chance at building a time machine than getting those two to share that piece of land. but at least with a time machine we'd be able to fix all the stuff we messed up and possibly prevent it from happening in the first place.

Well if Bush would help Palestine at least a little instead of convincing Israel to destroy the nation. Of course it could become a good independent state.

Well this is a double sides question.

1 thing is the fact THEY HATE EACH OTHER! More than a Commie and a Cappy. The reason they hate each other is documented in a certain book.

however on the other side I am taugh they will not get along until *blah blah blah* a certain day comes.

However I am not going to bring any religeon into this but I personaly think that they aren't going to be able to get along cause one side is going too always think they are being cheated.

there are too much hatre behind this issue,

i think the only solution for many arabians to be happy is to destory Isreal.....they become so extreme that they seem to ignore peace ways of doing things..

maybe i am wrong, plz comment

Chinese Canadian your right Israel is the one mostly causing all the conflicts because it knows its got George puppet Bush behind them.

but i ve learned BIble right? the land seems to belong to Isreal and Jewish ppl by God's law,

is that a convincing reason for Jewish ppl to stay there?

let me repeat my quesion again , and could u give me an answer?

anyone jewish here?

the thing is, they both claim religious rights the land.
if you go back far enough, there was Abraham, whom God told he would have decendants "numbering the stars"
he had a number or sons, but most notable are
*Isaac, who had a son Jacob who was involved in the 12 tribes of israel. so the israelis claim that region as thiers"
*Ishmael who is thought by Islam to be the son that Abraham almost sacrificed.

so both of them lay claim to the land by religious birthrights, and legitimately so, since both religions technically had the same "father"

i konw i haven't explained it very clearly, but basically: the "founders" of each religion were brothers.

You couuldt have read the bible.

God doesnt have rules on land, he doesnt see countries but his creation, doesnt see religions but his children, he doesnt see belongings but sharing.

Yes if you live in Disney world there will be a Palestine state built up peacefully. As long as Hamas and Hizbollah togheter with PLO running loose on the streets with European support as freedom fighters in the socialist "majority" of the ppl´s eyes, this dream will only stay a dream.

("majority" = Half of them dont give a damn)

What you have to decide is what
kind of person you are? Are you
the type who believes in miracles
and looks for signs or are you the
kind who believes, things just
happen by chance?

lets not make this a religous thing. if we do, it will become impossible to discuss. also, thequestion was not who is right, but can there be a fre and independent palestine anytime soon.

I believe the ansawer is yes. If Hammas and Jihad laydown their weapons, than there is chance. If the Israeli leadership can withstand internal preasure, than there is chance.

My bet: dont hold your breath. I expect a free Palestine in about 5-10 years.

Establishing a Palestinian State would require the extremists to acknowledge Israel's right to exist -- I doubt they'll do that. They've never considered the idea before.

Right or wrong, Israel is there. They're not going to pack up and leave. If the Palestinian Extremists can't acknowledge that, the the Palestinian People need to do everything in their power to dismantle and destroy such groups so that a Palestinian State can be possible. As of now, it would only end up becoming a safe haven for Hamas and the rest - something that Israel can't allow.

"You couuldt have read the bible.", said by a buddy

i read it actually, en....i dont know wut u mean, anyways

the major problem for establisng palestan state is the ownership of Jesuslem,

It seems isreal ppl doesn't want to share Jeuselem with Palestan ppl
