A FEW DAYS AGO, on the John Bolton – UN thread, Monty B accused me of sycophancy.
This was red rag to a bull, but being the gent I am, I let it pass.

Until now that is. I guess he must misinterpret my grateful appreciation of the part played in my country's history and survival by USA.

God Bless America – that’s me.

But I pay servitude to no-one, I need no-one’s permission to breathe, not even Monty’s.

And of course his accusation is a double-edged sword. So I have put together a list of my opinions, just to reassure him of my independence. I invite others to produce their own version for our delictation.

MY HEROES.

The most acclaimed Englishman - Winston Churchill.

The most acclaimed American - Homer Simpson.

The most acclaimed German - Bert Trautman.

The most acclaimed Frenchman - Sacha Distel.

The most acclaimed Dutchman - Martin Jol.

The most acclaimed Kiwi - Sherpa Tensing’s side-kick.

The most acclaimed Aussie - Crocodile Dundee.

The most acclaimed Dane - The Great Dane.

The most acclaimed Swede - Abba’s agent.

The most acclaimed Bulgarian - Dmitri Berbatov.

The most acclaimed Pole - John Paul 11.

The most acclaimed African - Nelson Mandella

The most acclaimed Rumanian - Dracula.

There we go then, pick the bones out of that lot, while I put my feet up.

V.

I'm surprised Monty could spell the bloody word, I wouldn't worry too much DB as insults are only as damaging as the source is valued by the intended victim.

I thought he called me that. Even though I emailed the mods, I didn't see any reaction to it.

Any ways, I, too, share your concerns and understand your point!

I think Monty was being a little naughty, I would not worry so much about it.

I wonder sometimes where he comes up with the names he calls people.

I really don't spend that much effort on it.
