Chorus:
My girl is a vegetable
She lives in a hospital
And I would do anything
To keep her alive

My girl's got eyes so blue
It's too bad she's missing two
And I would do anything
To keep her alive
Chorus

My girl's got legs so great
Tomorrow, they amputate
And I would do anything
To keep her alive
Chorus

My girl had legs so fine
Until she stepped on a land mine
And I would do anything
To keep her alive
Chorus

My girl's got great arms and legs
Too bad they're all wooden pegs
And I would do anything
To keep her alive
Chorus

My girl's got her own TV
It is called an EKG
And I would do anything
To keep her alive
Chorus

Sometimes I like to play a joke
Pull the plug and watch her choke
And I would do anything
To keep her alive
Chorus

Last Verse

I think this one really wraps it up. Just heard it the other day from one of my instructors.

One day she passed away,
But I hit it anyway!

You can also sub in "I buy her oxygen, to keep her alive."

Great Jody though!

i just got out of basic and most of these cadences are sung differently where i was at in Missouri,

My girl has 2 big hips
just like a battleship
chorus

i forgot most the other parts we didnt sing that one much

I was thinking of this cadence today... when I was in AIT some old cadre got us singing this and we got dropped by the XO and smoked in place for singing it... problem was we were singing it as we marched by the TMC and some medical officers got on the horn to the post commander... just to get back at em we came up with lyrics that sounded almost like this and would start up each time we got within earshot of that TMC.
