Browser wars!!!!

After World War XXIV with the about:blank bug, I gave up on IE and switched to Firefox. Tabbed browsing hooked me. Not being susceptible to all the crap the IE picks up along the way has kept me with Firefox.

MightyMac: Firefox has a nifty feature where all the open windows actually show up as tabs within your browser window. It's also open source which means anyone can hammer together an add on for it. One of the add ons, for instance, takes a text picture address (like this one: http://www.defense-update.com/images/samara-stryker.jpg) and automatically pops the image up on the web page without me having to click on anything or cut and paste. There are lots of nifty tools like that available. All in all, I've found Firefox to a hell of a lot more user friendly. Downloading it takes no time. The couple of times I've had trouble with it, I simply reinstalled a fresh copy over the existing copy and it worked like a champ. Try that with a Microsoft product!
