Looks great on paper and in controlled environments, but will it live up to its expectations if given a field test in Afghanistan?

It's a gas piston AR-15.... there are a ton of them out in the world right now. Hell, even H&Ks HK416 is simply a piston AR-15. Barret has a design, S&W, Colt, Ruger, etc... all have one. Nothing new.... wake me up when we get cased ammunition or blaster rifles from Star Wars. Nothing is going to replace the current AR-15 design unless a major breakthrough in ammunition happens.

Oh yea I know that there are a ton of piston driven AR style weapons out there, I just found it on military.com and found it interesting.
