Brazil was the last day 16/12 the first three helicopters Cougar EC-725 Super Helibras the consortium / Eurocopter-EADS. Delivery of the helicopters was attended by President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva.
This first batch was manufactured in France, but from 2012 the other EC-725 will be manufactured in the factory Helibras Itajubá in the state of Minas Gerais.
In all, Brazil will be delivered to 50 EC-725 and 16 for the FAB (Força Aérea Brasileira), 16 for Army aviation and another 16 for the Navy. Other two will be used for presidential transport.
