FUKUOKA, Japan - Defending champion Brazil coasted to a straight sets win over Greece on Saturday to stay unbeaten at the men's volleyball world championships.
The Brazilians got 14 points from Gilberto Godoy en route to a 25-19, 25-18, 25-16 win.
"We had a good passing game today and our attacking system worked better than yesterday," Brazil coach Bernardo Rezende said. "We made fewer mistakes and our service was better, and we also blocked better."
The Olympic gold medalists opened the tournament on Friday with a 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-22 win over Cuba.
Also in Group B, France improved to 2-0 after a hard-fought 25-23, 30-28, 24-26, 26-24 win over Australia.
In Group A, Poland recorded its second straight-sets victory by beating Argentina 25-21, 25-22, 25-22. Puerto Rico, meanwhile, couldn't carry over the momentum from Friday's huge upset win over Argentina, and lost in five sets to Egypt.

Italy was defeated by Bulgaria in five sets on Friday but was back in form Saturday.
"The difference between yesterday and today is that we were able to keep our concentration throughout the match," Italy captain Samuele Papi said. "Yesterday we gave up in the middle of the game, so we hope that today's win will be the start for us."
