Hi, my name is Markus, i will join the French Foreign Legion when i am 21 years old. I want to help people as an peacekeeper and i chose legion because what i have heard they have pretty low PTSD rate. Probably because life in the legion mainly consists of cleaning toilets but yeah... :biggun: they are still the toughest out there, i might be deployed to Mali or Afghanistan if there is still peace to be kept when i am joining.

Well, you're only 16
Maybe you'll change your mind after you have completed your compulsory military service in Finland. It is not always so romantic to be a soldier like Hollywood expresses.
 
Yeah i know, my views are not influenced by popular culture, i have never seen Hollywood movie about the subject. My main source of information has been this site called legioona.webs.com some ex legionnaire appearantly created it and it has pretty detailed stuff. Another source is cerevens.net but time will show, maybe military life is not for me, who knows.
