would be interesting. i saw a documentaion about this vest, and man that thing is like wearing a bunker... the only thing they haven't testet was shooting at a dragon skin vest with .50
does anyone know if theres a chance to survive, just survie a hit with .50?

I'm guessing that the sheer energy might be enough to kill you.

Um why? .50 cal is instant death, even if u dont get hit by it.

major liability
The only problem with Dragon Skin is it comes apart in high heat. Otherwise it looks very nice, took 11 rounds of .308 from a FAL carbine at point blank in their tests. Of course the guy wearing it would probably be on the ground with a chest of broken ribs after that...

Agreed, better to be alive with a few broken bones than having a chat with St. Peter

Secure What?
The one my base is currently using is plain old kevlar with a one bullet taking plate. -_-.... I wish we got dragonskin it's lighter and it would take more rounds, since the ones we have, per testing, will shatter after one shot from an M-4 carbine

There are guys in the sandbox who need that more than you do right now. At least you got a plate. Most soldiers in the world don't.
