Blue Angels' No. 6 crashed during air show

That's pretty sad to hear it. The family of the pilot killed Saturday watched as his F/A-18 Hornet crashed in the final minutes of a U.S. Navy Blue Angels precision-flying team air show.

It's really sad, and it must have been quite hard for the family to watch it live on TV.

But I guess accidents like this are bound to happen sooner or later when you're "pushing the envelope" as much as these guys are doing everytime they fly...

I've never seen them live but I've seen their shows on TV a few times and it's highly impressive flying.

Man...I was napping when this woke me up. Wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not.

LCDR Davis was the narrator last year, I heard him narrate the show at Andrews AFB when I stopped by last May.

Wow...I remember...The first air show I went to showcased the Blue Angels...My dad somehow managed to get in behind the tape, and I met each pilot briefly...Air show won't be the same.
